“Serving those who have honorably served our country”
Glen Ellyn, IL, October 2024 – 1776 Senior Care recently celebrated its 10-year anniversary as a Veteran friendly homecare provider. Nat Truitt founded the agency in 2014, with a vision to bring joy to seniors and peace to their families. 1776 Senior Care’s agency name is a tribute to Nat’s grandfathers who were WWII veterans. In 2019, the agency became certified with the Department of Veteran Affairs, to provide Veterans with home health aides and respite services in the comfort of their own homes. In 2024, 1776 Senior Care was now Veteran operated as well.
“As a Veteran, it is an honor to be part of an organization that focuses on serving those individuals who have honorably served our country. It is our mission to provide Veterans, seniors, and their families with services tailored to meet their changing needs while maintaining dignity, safety, and independence in their own homes,” said Mackensie Barone, Regional Operations Manager/OIF/OEF Veteran. 1776 Senior Care services the Illinois counties of DuPage, Kane, Kendall, and DeKalb.
1776 Senior Care has a team of experienced caregivers and a range of services tailored to individual needs, to ensure that each client feels valued and respected.
